Bone Regeneration Around Teeth

This patient presented with a history of trauma and failed root canal on his left central incisor. His left central incisor also underwent surgical endodontic therapy that was not successful and thus the tooth required to be extracted. An extraction was peformed and an implant and subsequent crown were placed in order to replace the central incisor. (Note: The dark pigmentation of the gum tissue above the central incisors was a result of the previous endodontic surgery).
Multiple Teeth Replacement with Dental Implants
Implant Supported Complete Denture
The patient lost all of his lower teeth due to periodontal disease. Four dental implants were placed and a gold bar was fabricated to help in retention and support of the future complete denture. After healing of the bone around the implants, clips were placed into the fabricated denture to attach it to the gold bar and thus allow for a stable lower denture for the patient.
